Detroit Lions:
The Lions continue to be mentioned as possible suitors for QB Lamar Jackson. But Lions head coach Dan Campbell was pretty adamant that Detroit is content with their current starter. The Lions head coach was asked about the quarterback situation Monday at the NFL Owners meetings and he gave a lot of praise to Detroit’s current signal caller, Jared Goff.

“Goff’s our guy”
“I think he’s proven over the last two years that, man, he’s made for us. He’s had to endure a lot, just like all of us have. I thought he played his best football last year”.

Following up on yesterday’s rumors that the Lions were looking into a possible trade with Denver for WR Courtland Sutton it appears that Denver may not be getting the type of interest they had hoped. Denver head coach Sean Payton addressed the rumors around his team’s receiving core.
#Broncos coach Sean Payton addresses the rumors of possible trades involving Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy, telling @TomPelissero: “I see and read just like everyone else… but we’re not trading those two players.”

More on Zach McKinstry:
Has expierence at 3B, 2B, SS and in RF & LF.
Posted a +1 OAA at both 2B and SS in 2022.
8.1 barrel % in 2021.
He logged a 0.9 fWAR & a 79 wRC+ (also 5 HR, 7 SB & a 21.1% whiff rate) in 185 PA for the #Dodgers and #Cubs last year. https://t.co/S9CHaEfjLv
Looks like McKinstry was brought in for his defense as well as his speed. Offensively is where you will have some question marks. McKinstry had a 7.6% walk rate last year with the Cubs.
