How Philadelphia Wins This Game: The Eagles will look to control the game with their rushing attack. Philly has one of most dynamic rushing games in the league led by running back Miles Sanders and quarterback Jalen Hurts. In their first meeting in early December, Hurts and Sanders combined for 221 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Hurts also passed for an additional 217 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-22 blowout win over the Giants. If Hurts is fully recovered from his Injured shoulder look for the Eagles to implement a similar gameplan to their first matchup and physically dominate New York upfront and pound the football.

How New York Wins This Game: The Giants have significantly improved from their first matchup. No more evident than at the quarterback position. Daniel Jones has significantly upped his game over the last several weeks with last week’s win over the Vikings being the biggest display of it. In the Giants victory in Minnesota, Jones was 24 for 35 for 301 yards and two touchdowns. Jones also ran 17 times for an additional 78 yards. Jones played nearly a perfect game and will need to again in order to upset the Eagles. If jones can continue his great play and the Giants defense can at least limit the Eagles run game, New York will have a shot.

Prediction: Although Daniel Jones had an incredible game last week against the Vikings the defense he was up against is not near the caliber of Philadelphia. I expect Jones to have a lot more difficulty in this game and his turnover issues from earlier in the season to show themselves once again. As long as Jalen Hurts is close to 100% and is a factor in the run game Philly should control this game throughout. The Giants will be competitive and give them a fight, but the Eagles are just too talented. Eagles 31 Giants 19
