This is your Detroit Sports Daily for Tuesday, March 28th, 2023 highlighting the latest news and results in Detroit sports over the last 24 hours.

Detroit Pistons:

The pistons were defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks last night 126-117 at Little Caesars Arena. Detroit was led by rookie guard Jaden Ivey who had a career-high 32 points while also adding eight assists and eight rebounds. Milwaukee, who was without Giannis Antetokounmpo were led by former Piston Khris Middleton who had a game-high 34 points and added an additional eight rebounds and five assists.

The Pistons next game will be on Wednesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Detroit Lions:

The Lions continue to be mentioned as possible suitors for QB Lamar Jackson. But Lions head coach Dan Campbell was pretty adamant that Detroit is content with their current starter. The Lions head coach was asked about the quarterback situation Monday at the NFL Owners meetings and he gave a lot of praise to Detroit’s current signal caller, Jared Goff.

Following up on yesterday’s rumors that the Lions were looking into a possible trade with Denver for WR Courtland Sutton it appears that Denver may not be getting the type of interest they had hoped. Denver head coach Sean Payton addressed the rumors around his team’s receiving core.

Detroit Tigers:

The Tigers made a trade on Monday sending pitcher Carlos Guzman to the Chicago Cubs in exchange for utility infielder Zach McKinstry.

Detroit Red Wings:

The Red Wings return to action tonight at 7 pm against the Pittsburgh Penguins at LCA.

That will do it for today. Make sure to check out DetroitSitDown.com every morning for Detroit Sports Daily and get caught up on the latest news and results over the last 24 hours in Detroit sports.
